Our Story

Hommies began in December 2016 in Nkpor, Onitsha, Anambra State, Nigeria. A
group of friends decided to walk home from school instead of taking public
transport, using their fare to buy suya and celebrate the end of the year. During
their hangout, they noticed people in need and chose to share their food. That
simple act of kindness sparked a vision: to create a community that celebrates
friendship while making a positive impact. From that day forward, Hommies
became more than a club—it became a movement of compassion and
connection.
